Counseling
Group Therapy
Group therapy can provide support, connection, encouragement, and healing through shared experiences with others facing similar challenges. Participating in a group setting helps individuals realize they are not alone while also learning new perspectives, coping strategies, and ways to navigate difficult situations.
At Kilgore Counseling Center, our therapists can facilitate therapeutic and educational groups designed to support emotional wellness, personal growth, skill building, and community connection in a safe and supportive environment.
Potential Group Topics May Include
- Stress and anxiety management
- Grief and loss
- Parenting support
- Life transitions and adjustment
- Anger management
- Addiction and recovery support
- Mindfulness and relaxation skills
- Communication and relationship skills
- Emotional wellness and coping strategies
- Support for caregivers and families
Our Approach
Our clinicians create a comfortable, respectful, and supportive environment where participants can learn from one another while receiving professional guidance and support. Groups are designed to encourage connection, self reflection, healthy communication, and practical skill development.
While Kilgore Counseling Center does not currently have any open therapy groups scheduled, we are able to develop and facilitate groups based on community interest, organizational partnerships, and identified needs.
Who This Service Is For
Group therapy services may benefit individuals, families, schools, churches, organizations, or community groups seeking support, education, skill building, or therapeutic connection around shared experiences and challenges.
